Frenger's environmentally friendly "Radiant" Passive Chilled Beam technology was chosen for this 44,500 sq ft striking angular building standing in the heart of Birmingham's City Centre.

As Frenger's Chilled Beams provide cooling via radiant absorption the client was able to demonstrate that the concrete slab, metal ceiling system, and raised floor with displacement ventilation were all part of the energy saving cooling / heating system.

This resulted in tax savings for all the aforementioned building components; something which would not have been possible using a convective only solution.
