Passive Chilled Beams

The Djanogly City Academy, which was built as a replacement for the over-subscribed Forest School, was supplied with Frenger's Passive Chilled Beams with integrated lighting, providing high levels of Thermal Comfort to over 800 students in the academy.

The academy's main specialism is Information and Communication Technologies, with the school being one of the first to bring laptops into the classroom, phasing out traditional computer suites.

Another reason Frenger^® was selected to supply Passive Chilled Beams to the project was to reduce the energy demand and counter the heat gain caused by the computer equipment.
