Unlike other Chilled Beams on the market, all Frenger's Active Chilled Beams feature their "Turn Down" facility as standard, which allows them to create a full Coanda effect at an air pressure even as low as 15Pa.
This is crucial for maintaining good Thermal Comfort when rooms are not populated to full design occupancy and reduced fresh air volume is desirable for energy efficiency purposes (reduced air pressure = reduced air volume).
This test was undertaken in one of three in-house Climatic Testing Facilities at Frenger's UK technical facility, which allow for project specific Steady and Non-Steady State testing to take place.
