Frenger's latest Recepto Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery (MVHR's) Unit model, Recepto Slim, provides energy efficient heat recovery of up to 87%, with a shallow construction depth less than 200mm. The new Recepto Slim is the perfect solution for providing highly energy efficient ventilation for residential properties.
Similarly to the Recepto Mini, at approximately 600mm wide (compared to the 850mm for the narrowest standard Recepto), the Passivhaus certified Recepto Slim is suited for smaller and more restricted space applications such as office meeting rooms and domestic applications. What sets the Recepto Slim apart is it compact depth allowing for easy installation behind a false ceiling, it also comes fitted with an integrated control panel that allows for calibration of the unit.
The Recepto Slim features easily accessible, highly efficient air filters. The external air intake circuits use F7 (fine filtration) that filters 70% of PM1 (In accordance with ISO 16890), while the room extract circuit uses an M5 (medium filtration) that filters 50% of PM10.
Recepto™ Slim MVHR mounted in a domestic application
The Recepto Slim can be 'Horizontally Mounted' for ceiling applications or 'Vertically Mounted' for wall mounted applications. These Mechanical Ventilation Heat Recovery units are highly energy efficient and are able to transfer heat from the extracted room air to the fresh air with an efficiency up to 87%.

As standard the Recepto Slim comes fitted with a humidity sensor on the extract ducting, this allows for automatic centralised air flow control for the units. They also have an anti freeze cut out to prevent damage to the heat exchanger that will trip if the temperature goes below -5°C. The use of an external anti freeze heating coil is recommended if the unit is installed in an area with frequently cold weather.
Recepto™ Slim MVHR Mounted in a Living Room
Along with the integrated control panel, the Recepto Slim is also compatible with the wall mountable touch pad control panel that comes with the other Recepto units. This controller facilitates functions such as weekly schedule management, setting air flow modes including; manual mode, automatic mode, party mode and holiday mode.
The Recepto Slim comes with changeable air connections, to allow all four connections to be made either along the width or the length of the units.
