Frenger® supplied the contemporary redevelopment of the Spirax-Sarco Headquarters in Cheltenham with their Active Multi-Service Chilled Beams with bullnose extruded polycarbonate Cyan Enhanced Static (CES) light source behind continuous lighting diffusers.
Providing a striking new modern work environment, with 180 office workstations, flexible working spaces and breakout areas, the building provides a new improved workspace which focuses on providing a healthy environment for building occupants to work in.
Cyan Enhanced Static lighting, such as the lighting used by Frenger® on this project, provides a neutral white colour temperature that more closely matches natural daylight. This allows the body to keep its circadian rhythm synchronised while in office spaces, which improves alertness and digestion and will lead to overall better wellbeing and productivity for the occupants.
The switch to CES lighting alone can lead to an additional 3 WELL points, which can help buildings achieve and higher WELL Certification and lead to an increase in real estate value.
